We are delighted to inform you that King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, in collaboration with Saudi Aramco and the International Lithosphere Program (ILP), will host the 19th Workshop of the ILP Task Force on Sedimentary Basins in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This workshop provides a platform for exploring different aspects of crustal evolution using a variety of geoscientific approaches. Taking place each year in various geological locations, the event attracts a substantial gathering of scientists and specialists from around the world. The workshop promotes the exchange of cutting-edge research in lithospheric science, emphasizing the interplay between tectonics, sedimentary processes, and natural resource systems. It brings together national and international experts to address challenges in geological modeling, geodynamics, and sustainability.
